Ames Iowa Repair Café — April 19th

Don't let a flat tire keep you from enjoying the beautiful spring weather! On April 19th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, We-Cycle is partnering with the Ames Repair Café to host a free, hands-on bicycle maintenance workshop at the community center.

This event is designed for everyone, regardless of prior experience. Bring your bike, and our expert volunteer mechanics will guide you through the process of diagnosing and fixing common issues. You'll learn how to patch a tube, adjust your brakes, clean and lubricate your chain, and make sure your gears are shifting smoothly.

We'll provide all the necessary tools and a supply of common replacement parts (cables, housing, brake pads). Coffee and donuts will be provided! No registration is required, but we recommend arriving early as assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
