An Amazing Summer of Service

As the days grow shorter and the leaves begin to turn, we want to take a moment to reflect on an incredible summer at We-Cycle. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our volunteers, we achieved milestones we once thought impossible.

Our 'Summer Rides' series was a massive success, bringing together hundreds of cyclists of all ages and abilities for weekly group rides exploring the trails and neighborhoods of Ames. These rides weren't just about exercise; they were about building connections, sharing knowledge, and promoting a culture of active transportation.

Inside the shop, the energy was electric. We welcomed over 30 new volunteers, many of whom had never held a wrench before. The spirit of collaboration and mentorship was inspiring. A huge thank you to everyone who donated a bike, turned a wrench, or simply cheered us on. You are the heart of We-Cycle!
